A spicy chicken filling wrapped in a crispy dough and deep fried. It is perfect with chutney and dips.

Chicken samosa is one of the most popular Indian street snacks. They are easy to make and are loaded with spices and herbs. This delicious dish is perfect for tea parties or just for a snack with friends. The crispy crust encases the savory chicken filling that is spiced with garam masala. This spicy dish is balanced by the fresh mint chutney that is used as a dipping sauce.

To make these samosas, first the samosa dough needs to be made. Combine salt, flour and oil and slowly pour in water until the dough comes together. Then let it rest for about half an hour. Once it is ready, divide it into equal portions. Now take a portion and roll it into a circular shape. It should be about 6 inches in diameter. Keep the other parts covered with a damp cloth to prevent them from drying out.

After the samosa patti is rolled, moisten it with water and then fold it like a triangle. Then smear a small amount of flour paste on the curved end to seal it. Then fill a generous 1-2 tablespoons of the chicken filling in it.

To fry the samosas, heat sufficient oil in a large high sided pan until it ripples. Then add a few samosas at a time, allowing them to fit in the pan without overlapping. Fry for 1 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate or cooling rack to drain the excess oil. Repeat the process with the remaining samosas. سمبوسة دجاج
